Dowitchers 2017
Burkes Garden has two ponds that attract shorebirds as the fly north to their breeding grounds.
Gose Mill Pond (as you enter the valley) and Moore Pond on Litz Lane. Short-billed Dowitchers were seen on May 15, 2017 at the Moore Pond (aka MBC Ranch Pond).
